Meet Jake Randall. Author. Divorcee. New to Los Angeles. Jake was about to begin a new life in the City of Angels. He was anxious to leave his troubles behind. Little did he know, his life was about to take an unexpected turn. Twenty years in the future, a resistance fighter makes his way through an abandoned industrial park in the Los Angeles Sector. His mission: create a portal to the past and locate the One who could deliver their message. Unbeknownst to Jake, a wormhole has been ported to his new home and a mechanized probe emerges from the rift to beckon him.
